Stencils for dot painting for beginner bottles and jewelry boxes. Summer butterfly in dot painting Butterflies dot painting

Good day!

Finally posting my creation. Seeing that I didn’t know what to do with myself, my husband offered me the tile left over from the repair. Its size is 30x30.

We decided that it would be hours. For a long time, holes were drilled for the arrows and for the cord on which they should hang.

I’ll write right away that I haven’t purchased the cord yet, but at the same time, maybe someone will tell you what color is better - silver or gold ...

This is where the flight of fancy began. Since in our city spring didn’t want to come to us for a long time (I don’t know what we did wrong), and in the country in general you can kayak through the bushes and beds, I really wanted Spring !!! In any form...

Therefore, a large, spring butterfly.

I’ll also write that something went wrong with the arrows ...

When I finished the work, I put black arrows - it's not visible. Then they changed it to gold, it seems to be better, but against such a colorful background, they were lost. But, in the end, while this and that ... the cat gnawed and bit them. I also missed spring, apparently.

Yes, and just as they were also lost on a golden butterfly, Julia, our specialist, advised us to make them contrasting along with the places that are under the numbers. Initially they were empty...

Now, let's look at it in order:

Here, this is with gold arrows ... Pale, right?

And now closer:

For the first time I tried this openwork pattern, otherwise I didn’t know what to fill with empty places ...

Here, I showed all the corners up close.

Here, and now the last option with bright contrasting arrows, acrylic pearl paint ...

Brighter, right?

Thanks to everyone who watched to the end.

P.S. And my son, seeing the clock, asked himself to make the same, only in the center of the Earth, and around the night sky, Galaxy, stars ... etc. But I still don't see them in my head... Apparently, it's not the time... Yes, and my embroidery is now in the race with the dacha.

Stencils for dot painting are very convenient to use in creativity, especially for those who do not know how to draw, but want to create beautiful things with their own hands. Ready-made stencils can be purchased at the store or you can make them yourself by cutting out paper or plastic. Drawings for stencils can be taken both from the Internet and from books, for example, coloring books. For spot painting, stencils of patterns, flowers and butterflies are suitable. The more lines, the better, since the dots need to cover the entire drawing.

We offer for beginners several visual workshops on painting with dots using stencils.

Starting with the Basics

Dot painting can be used on any items made of various materials. Special contour paints can be used for spot painting on glass, leather, wood, ceramics, etc.

Consider how you can paint a bottle, a plate, glasses and a box using a stencil.

First of all, you need to prepare the following materials and tools:

  • contour paints in tubes of any colors;
  • liquid for degreasing surfaces (glass or ceramic), for example, alcohol or nail polish remover;
  • prepared picture or ready-cut stencil;
  • scotch;
  • cotton buds to remove excess paint and correct mistakes;
  • needle for cleaning the tube.

No brushes are needed, as the paint is applied in contours and dots directly from the tip of the tube.

It should be noted that the diameter of the dot depends on the force of pressure on the tube: the stronger and longer the pressure, the larger the dot.

Before work, it is recommended to practice on paper to put dots of different sizes at an equal distance. You can try to draw a simple geometric pattern, a circle, a wave. It is necessary to ensure that the points do not merge into one line, but also do not look scattered.

It is easier to paint a ceramic or glass plate than other objects, since the surface of the plate is usually relatively flat and smooth. If you plan to use the plate for its intended purpose, then it is better to take a glass one and paint from the outside. In any case, painting on a ceramic plate is done from the inside. If this plate is intended for food, it must be covered with a special acrylic varnish in several layers to protect the painting from water and mechanical stress.

As a decor, a plate made of any material is suitable - ceramics, glass, wood. It can be painted from any convenient side. As a rule, such plates are very flat, without embossed sides.

Progress:

  1. Degrease the surface of the plate;

  1. Choose a stencil with a round pattern according to the size of the plate and secure it with adhesive tape;

  1. Start painting along the contours of the drawing, putting points at a great distance from each other (they will serve as a guide);

  1. Let the paint dry and peel off the stencil;
  1. Add dots to the drawing, changing their size and color;

  1. Leave the finished craft to dry;

  1. Finish with acrylic lacquer if necessary.

Stencils for plates can be as follows:

Bottle decorating is a popular activity among beginner craftsmen. Finding an unnecessary glass bottle is not difficult, and there is plenty of flight for fantasy here.

Dot painting can be one of the ways to decorate a bottle, or it can be an addition to other types of decoration. For example, a bottle can be painted with acrylic paints, and the finish can be done with dot painting. Or with colored dots you can arrange decoupage.

For painting glasses, small stencils depicting vegetation or simple patterns are suitable. You can also draw a sketch by hand. If contour drawings are used, then they must be fixed on the inside of the glass with adhesive tape or electrical tape.

When the template is well fixed, you should start painting, focusing on the lines of the picture.

Dot painting on glasses can be used as an additional decoration for a picture made with acrylic paints.

Second option

Caskets are painted a little more difficult, since it is necessary to process all sides and edges. It may take some time, but the result is sure to please.

Under the painting, it is not necessary to take the box directly. It can be any tin or wooden box with a lid. A beautiful and original painting will help transform a simple box into a real jewelry box.

Progress:

  1. Make a stencil to size. It is necessary to choose round, square or rectangular pattern patterns for the lid and walls of the box. Then the pattern is transferred to a plastic folder-corner and carefully cut out with a clerical knife.

  1. Fix the finished stencil on the box and mark the contours of the drawing elements with rare dots. Let the paint dry and remove the stencil.

  1. Proceed to dot painting, focusing on the intended points. It is desirable to fill the pattern with dots in different colors.

  1. Also make a painting on the sides of the box and leave to dry. After that, you can varnish the product for better fixing and protection of the paint.

Such an elegant box can be a great gift and a convenient place to store small things.

Below are examples of stencils of patterns and drawings for painting with dots.

Video on the topic of the article

In the video you can see more about the painting.

To make a decorative plate in dot painting, we need the following materials:

1. Plastic plate.
2. Acrylic contours and glitters of different colors.
3. Sketch of the drawing.
4. Acrylic paints (white and black).
5. PVA glue.
6. Alcohol.
7. Lacquer to cover the acrylic base.
8. Sponge for paint.
9. Paper napkins.
10. Medium brush.
11. Colored pencil.

Work begins with degreasing the surface with alcohol. This is done so that the paint lays flat on the plate. Wipe with alcohol on both sides.

Then, using a sponge, paint over the plate with white acrylic paint. To do this, movements are made pressing against the product with a sponge. By using a sponge, we avoid brush marks and the surface is painted evenly. You can use not only decorative, but also building acrylic paint. It must be applied on both sides.

We apply white paint to prime the surface. After the first layer, the pattern under the plate is visible, so paint over it again.

The next step is to prepare the background of the plate. To do this, apply two coats of black acrylic paint to the entire product with drying between staining.

Then the plate must be treated with acrylic varnish. This is done to fix the paint, and if we put a sloppy point, then it can be removed without damaging the surface. Using a glossy varnish, we will give the surface a sheen.

After drying the product, you can start drawing the picture. To do this, you need to decorate the back of the sketch with a colored pencil. Choose bright colors so that they can be seen against a black background.

Let's start painting the plate. To do this, take the contour for painting and circle the silhouette of a butterfly.

Now we take contours or glitters and apply the main large dots.

We continue to highlight the main lines of the butterfly.

Let's start painting the wings. You need to work carefully so as not to catch the already marked points.

So we fill the two upper wings.

Let's move on to the bottom two. The size of the dot left depends on the force of pressing the tube. For a large point, you should press on the contour more strongly, for a small one - lighter.

Then we take a white outline and give fluffiness to the wings of a butterfly. To do this, put a point and slightly stretch it.
